American Film Institute presents QUEEN OF CACTUS COVE, a thesis film created by AFI fellows Anna Christopher (Director), Brenda Weiermair (Producer), Dominique Martinez (Cinematographer) and Sarah Broshar (Editor). It is a recipient of the McNamara Family Creative Arts Grant awarded by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.

The film was photographed on 35mm Kodak film over six days in April of 2005 in multiple locations throughout southern California.
